Bees need rest just like any other creature, and they even follow a similar sleep cycle to humans. They typically sleep for about 5-8 hours a night. What’s even more intriguing is that studies suggest bees might experience something similar to dreaming. During their sleep, bees often twitch their legs and antennae, much like a dog does when it dreams. Researchers believe these movements may indicate that the bees are processing memories, suggesting that their tiny brains are capable of some form of memory consolidation, which is similar to dreaming.
