Bees Can Detect Explosives

It’s well known that bees have a keen sense of smell, but did you know that this ability can be used for more than just finding flowers? Scientists have trained bees to detect explosives like TNT by associating the scent of explosives with a sugary reward. Once trained, bees stick out their tongues when they detect the smell of explosives. This ability can be utilised in security operations and could even offer a safer alternative to traditional bomb detection methods.
